He moved to Washington in 2006 to cover Congress, the White House, politics and federal agencies. He covered the environment beat for more than 15 years, and has won several New York Associated Press and Publishers Association awards. A native of Philadelphia, he is a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
